The Mesacon Group was established in 1960, by late Shri R. B. Mehta in the form of Mesacon Consulting Engineers, a consulting firm providing Structural consulting services to leading developers in Mumbai. Over the years, Mesacon Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. became one of the leading and highly reputed consulting firms of Mumbai with the top of the line developers in the city as its clients. Mr. Vikram Mehta joined as a director in the company in 1991 and took over complete charge as managing director after the demise of Shri R. B. Mehta in 1995. Under his leadership, the company expanded its client base and diversified into project management consulting services and also as durability and quality consultants, having a staff of about 50 personnel and having won a few prestigious awards including one from the American Concrete Institute.
